I keep praying over and over “Lord have mercy – on me…Lord have mercy…” Jesse’s breathing is getting worse and despite 3 bags of ice on his head and against his sides, his fever is not coming down. They may have to intubate him again. Everyone else has gone home, and there’s just you guys and me here… if you could pray for Jess and for me right now, I would so appreciate it. It feels so humbling to ask, and even embarassing to come begging again, but I feel like I really need it – so does Jess. Thank you all so much. Kimx

  1. I’m praying right now, Kim. And I have asked the Spirit of God to please continue interceding on your behalf long after I fall asleep praying for your dear Jesse. I, too, have little ones. 6 of them. None have faced kidney transplant, but we’ve teetered on the edge of really scary stuff with 3 of them and my mother’s heart is right there with you. I’m praying for God’s gentlest will to be done and for you both to sleep deply and peacefully tonight if He will allow it. Please, Father….allow it.

  2. Kim, we want you to know that we just prayed for your situation at this moment…keep focusing on The Lord..you are doing well, very well through all these trials…He will give you strength..keep remembering all His promises and all the wonders He has done and is continuing to do so…He has promised, and His promises are sure…we are all here for you. Love you and your family as in The Lord.

  3. We may not be right there physically but we sure are there in spirit – and bringing you all before our Father’s throne. NEVER hesitate to ask us to pray! Only wish I could put my own arms around you but His arms are far better than mine. Praying you’ll know deep, deep down that our Great Physician is right there keeping you all in the palm of His hand. Praying for a tremendous sense of His peace to flood your heart in all the uncertainties you face.

  4. We’re with you Kim.

God, our Heavenly Father, is still in control. He’ll always be in control. He has Jesse and you and Tim and Molly and India carefully in His strong and loving Hand.

May His peace envelop you even right now.

    Your sister in Christ Jesus,
    Nancy K

  5. Kim, we are praying for you and Jesse! And you can be confident you have many, many prayers going up right now on your behalf…..you are safely ”hidden in the shadow of His wings”.
    (Psalms 17:8)

  6. Kim, on my knees in prayer for all of you. No matter what God is loving and can be trusted. He is merciful and victorious. Praying…

  7. Kim – We are praying for little Jesse and you. It brings tears to my eyes reading what Jesse is having to fight against. I experienced that fine line of intubating/extubating with my mom last year. The importance of deep breaths and LOTS of coughing to keep the lungs clear. The medication required to keep them comfortable but to not inhibit what they need to do on their own….Please know that we are thinking of you. Our girls, Kimberly & Carly, are also quite concerned. I’ve told them in some detail what Jesse is experiencing this week and they are quite sincere (as 4 and 6 year olds are) that he be ok.
    Stay strong.
    Lots of love – Dawn.

  8. I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out – plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. “When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I’ll listen.” Jer 29:11 (The Message)

We stand with you in prayer Kim, and trust in our heavenly Father. Jesus loves Jess and you more than anything else! He is THAT BIG and THAT PRESENT with you and He can do this when you feel you can’t! You are not alone ….we are all with you and your precious family. Bless you again and again and again. Heaps of love….

  9. We are praying for all of you Kim. “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”. (Isaiah 41:10). You are so not alone Kim…

  10. Prayer is powerful and keep asking Kim. It’s what we can do for you and your family, and it makes us feel like we are helping.

“Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary?”
    Isaiah 40:28

Praying for you and Tim that you will feel the strength of our Heavenly Father and that you will be carried through this roller coaster and sense His presence all around you. He never tires and never sleeps…He is watching Jesse 24/7!
